including four US Opens, four Nationals, and the 1993
Shootout. Johnson placed fourth with Dennie Shupryt-Knoop
at the 1992 Nationals and at the 1993 US Open with Lori
Biller. She was sixth with Shupryt-Knoop in the 1993
Shootout.

Johnson ranks 22nd in earnings with $36,298.76. She was the
WPVA's Rookie-of-the-Year in 1990. Her best career finishes
are fourths with Shupryt-Knoop at the 1992 Nationals and
Manhattan Beach, and in 1993 at New Orleans, Jacksonville,
Santa Cruz, and Fairborn. Johnson missed the 1994 season with
a shoulder injury.

Johnson competed in volleyball, basketball, and softball at
Tustin. She had a 4.0 grade-point average and was the class
valedictorian.

Personal:
Johnson's parents are David and JoAnn Palmer. She has a brother,
Larry, and a sister, Andrea. She was married on June 10, 1989, in
Corona Del Mar, CA, to Robert W. Johnson, an independent financier.
She passed the CPA examination in 1989. Her hobbies are skiing, fly
fishing, scuba diving, backpacking, and sailing, along with playing
the piano and guitar. Johnson traveled to New Zealand prior to the
1992 season and took up bungy jumping.
