Roach has competed in 15 grand slam events and is 29th in earnings ($5,929.13). Roach's best U. S. Open finish was a fifth in 1989 with Bonnie Fisk. Roach's best Nationals finish was a fifth with Campbell in 1994. She was eighth with Stammer in the 1993 Shootout.

WPVA Career:

Roach is 23rd on the earning's list ($43,079.98). Roach's best career finish was fourth in 1993 with Biller at Puerto Rico for their first final four placement.

Roach has competed in 100 events with 15 different partners, including 29 stops with Campbell, 10 with Biller, nine with Stammer, eight with Kelly Van Winden, seven each with Mary Joe Peppler and Ilga Celmins, six with Fisk, five each with Mary Allison and Kathy Hanley, three each with Christi Cook, Dennie Shupryt-Knoop, Monique Oliver and Shannon Millen, and one each with Nina Matthies and Jill Halsted.

College:

Roach graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1988 where she earned four letters in volleyball. Roach was a second-team NCAA Division I All-American as a senior.

High School:

Roach competed in volleyball at Marlborough School in Los Angeles.

Personal:

Roach's parents are George and Susan Mitchel. She has two brothers (Cidy and Steve) and a sister (Margaret). Roach played Major League Professional Volleyball with the Chicago Breeze in 1988. Her hobbies are skiing, golf, reading, movies and jewelry making.
