GRAND SLAM: Blomquist has competed in 14 grand slam events and is 22nd in earnings ($17,177.50). Blomquist posted a third with Chris Schaefer in the 1997 Nationals. Blomquist was seventh with Gayle Stammer at the 1995 U. S. Open and a seventh with Danalee Bragado at the 1996 Best of the Beach. Blomquist and Schaefer were sixth at the 1997 Invitational. er, eight with Stammer, six with Schaefer, five with Bragado, three each with Erin Deiters, Kristine Bailey and Ciarelli, and two each with Bev Lidyoff, Andersson and Ali Wood, and one each with Lisa Bettio, Valinda Hilleary and Mary Baily.
FIVB: Blomquist's best finishes are ninths in 1996 with Fletcher at Hermosa Beach and Bragado at Puerto Rico, and 1997 with Wood in Italy and with Fontana in Korea. Blomquist is 80th in earnings ($6,475). Blomquist and Fletcher qualified for the 1996Olympic Trials where they lost both their preliminary matches.

Brother Steve captained the tennis team at Connecticut and her father and sister played volleyball in college. Blomquist married Stephen Hall November 2, 1996 in Branford, Conn. She is a director on the WPVA board.
