FSN will broadcast the women's final Sept. 18 at 5:00 p.m. and the men's final Sept. 22 at noon (check your local listings).

HISTORY

The men last played an AVP event in San Francisco in 1996, when Mike Dodd and Mike Whitmarsh successfully defended their title while the women played their lone tournament there in 1994 with Holly McPeak and Cammy Ciarelli claiming first prize.

   Call 511 or visit 511.org ahead of time to find out real-time driving times and traffic conditions, including congestion, incidents, and construction.

From the East Bay
   Get on 580 W Take it to 80 W/Bay Bridge. Go over the Bay Bridge. Take the Fremont Street Exit on your right. Turn left onto Fremont Street.    Immediately get over to the right. Turn right onto Howard. Turn left onto Embarcadero. Piers 30/32 will be on your right.

From the North Bay
   Take 101 S/Golden Gate Bridge to the Downtown/Lombard exit. Turn left on Van Ness and right on Bay Street. Take Bay Street to Embarcadero. Make a right onto Embarcadero. Take Embarcadero to Brannan Street.

From the Peninsula/South Bay
   Take 280 N (or 101 N to 280 N) and exit at 6th Street. Make a right on Brannan, the first right off the exit. Make a left on Second Street and a right on Harrison Street. Take Harrison to the Embarcadero. Go right on Embarcadero. Take Embarcadero to Brannan Street.

MUNI bus 12 Folsom stops at Embarcadero and Harrison (approximately 2 blocks from Piers 30/32).

MUNI buses 30 Stockton and 45 Union-Stockton stop at 4th and Brannan (approximately 6 blocks from Piers 30/32).
